The Slate board with cheese knife arrived in time, despite having been detained in customs. They are very fine quality and worth their price. As a resident of the EU, I would have liked a "heads up" to expect the delay in customs and the customs surcharge on top of the price. As it happened, I was locked in to paying the surcharge in order to receive the item before Christmas. It came in the Nick of Time.
This item was a gift. My daughter absolutely loved it. So well made and looks perfect on her table for special occasions.

The case has light weight, my glasses fit without any problems. The leather feels pleasan. It seems that I can use it longer than my previous cases.
The slate place mat is beautiful but after only 2days there's a stain that I'm not able to remove.The stain on my slate plate can only be of food maybe oil but was disappointed to see that it's so delicate in contact with food stains.
